Simple Living, High Thinking – The uncommon art of existence

The string “Simple Living & High Thinking” states the subject precisely, but do we certainly mean it? I will need a moment to explain this expression here.

A simple living is merely a life where you do not rush towards high status; you don’t wish to flaunt in front of your friends, family, or society. As a matter of fact, you prefer a life of simplicity.

Let’s be more specific.

Expressing the field of vision over simple life is effortless but surely challenging to live.

Simplicity means, to be humble & modest in every single phase, even when you are the president of a country or you hold the greatest status in the country, universe or even in the society, you will feel happiness, calmness, and relaxation in whatever you possess. Do not rush towards acquiring more and more (money, wealth, property, clothes, etc).

Do not blend the concept of simplicity with poverty. Poverty might not be anyone’s choice but simplicity could be. We need to acknowledge the real significance of simplicity.

How can we do that, you ask? Well let’s start with demanding lesser belongings (in terms of wants and desires). Develop simple thoughts, clutter less, be more productive, creative, and sensible. Be less addictive and dependent on non-essentials. Be happy and satisfied with the available resources.

With the combination of simple living & high thinking, one can transform the entire life outright. By means of high thinking, we convey the significance of a broader vision.

The person with high thinking sees the world as not bound by chains. They look beyond the walls and overcome social barriers.

The great legends like Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Stephen Hawkings, Mother Teresa inspire the whole world with the perception of simplicity in their lives.

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler – Albert Einstein

I always find myself fit into the concept of simple living & high thinking.

To follow the norms that bound the concept, I have prepared a collection of thoughts that I often try to achieve successfully:

  • Love not only your surroundings but yourself.
  • Be vibrant towards the thoughts.
  • Self-grooming should be a necessity.
  • Connect with your present moments.
  • Be courageous & generous.
  •  Approach life with full positivity.
  •  Keep the attitude of gratefulness.
  • Stay online to serve others.
  • Be more focused on a better character than the reputation.
  • Do not hold grudges & practice forgiveness.
  • Ruminate your feelings and intuitions.
  • Discover the life and fulfill its purpose.

Keeping the ideals of simple living and high thinking is way beyond self-interest. This is something beyond your ego, your materialist desires. It aims the commitment to work for others, concentrate on humanitarianism and kindness. Dedicate yourself for the betterment and well-being of the society. Uplift others for equality with humbleness.

Cherish your soul with the beauty of peacefulness. Keep all the rubbish out of the way and create a room filled with positivity, creativity & generosity. Inspire others with your presence in the room. Be down to earth and active to help others. Living a simple life will make you feel light and free. It saves your lot of money, time, and energy.

Always tell yourself this-

“I should be an inspiration for others by creating an ideal impression. I am on my way and I know someday I will achieve my goal.”

The people sharing the same philosophy inspires me the most.

Just relieve yourself from all the attachments and choose the path of self-love where you serve others. Help the needy and give them the way to live life beautifully. Then, at the end of the day, you will feel proud of yourself for being YOU.

Trust me, it’s possible. ☺
